In 2017 The Primrose Trust supported a scheme to reinstate historic paths through and around the garden. The paths had been partially restored in 2015, but the RHSI had not had sufficient funds to apply the finishing surfaces, which promised to make a huge difference to the overall appearance of the garden. The RHSI garden is an important element in attracting visitors to Russborough House.
