Glamour and Gloom – 1930s Architecture in Belfast – Ulster Architectural Heritage
The Follies Trust granted an application from Ulster Architectural Heritage (UAH) to fund part of the total cost of a publication focusing on the importance of early 20th century modern architecture in Belfast, at a time when buildings of this period are under severe threat. The book examines a wide and interesting selection of buildings from the period 1929–1941, including cinemas, schools, exhibition halls and shops.
